These items dont have to be real, just real looking. Also the time is set in 1940's & 50's so the items need to be/look old. We are a low budget film, so we dont have a lot of $ to spend. Ideally we could borrow items and return them, of course the loaner of the items would get a credit or thank you in the film credits. If anyone has any old German &/or Russian items that we can purchase or borrow, please contact me. Or if you have ideas where I can go. Thank you!!

I found this on eBay. There's a 1920s German passport for sale on there - just type in German passports.
This is a long Web address:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=german+passports&category0=

Then type in Russia 1940s - and you'll find all kinds of inexpensive Russian treasures.

If you type in German 1940s there are things from cards, beer coasters and more.

Other places to look for props is your local flea market or put an advertisement in your local newspaper.

As an added bonus: Once you finish your film this festival accepts a wide variety of films, it's getting established and you may want to try it out:http://www.jacksonholefilmfestival.org/.

Best of luck!

Actually I can't, but I have a question for a question (sorry). How did you get into your field? I did technical theature in highschol and I loved it (most of the time). How did you get to do what you do? Is there plenty of work in your area or other related careers? Thanks for your time!

OH yeah, www.ebay.com is your best bet. Atleast on line. Visit some local antique shops too. Just look in your local phone directory... I mean if you haven't already. See I helped, I hope.
