Traditions are things that people of a particular society DO. Culture is a more inclusive term which includes the values and beliefs behind those traditions.

For example, both Americans and Chinese have similar traditions of using fireworks in celebrations. In the US, fireworks are associated with patriotic holidays such as the Fourth of July and recall the battles our ancestors fought for freedom. In China, fireworks were originally intended to frighten away evil spirits. Thus, similar traditions have different cultural roots.

I reverted to Islam final yr (they are saying reverted considering the fact that they think whilst you're born you're born muslim first after which your moms and dads convert you to an additional faith), and something I learned is that tradition and faith are inter-twined. When you're muslim, inside a muslim neighborhood it consumes the whole thing you do (from pondering for the duration of the day, to keeping your gaze -so it does not fall onto a man or woman lustfully), praying 5X an afternoon continues you ate up. Muslims are like someone. They are very charitable (two.five% of your annually profits (in the end fees and lifestyles charges had been paid), very honourable to every body and this can be a sin to harm blameless persons. But if you're an extremist (a Christian can do alot of harm-whats up slavery, and so forth., and ask Lebanon and Palestine how the Jews are doing), and muslims aren't any exclusive both. They can learn what they desire within the Quran to make their argument, however just like the bible you need to realise what you learn.
