This gives me the creeps..these files keep appearing and they are created by windows and you cant delete them ,and the solution is to turn off performance analyzer... how do you do that and this makes me want to go back to dos or redhat .. this xp seems great at times but has weird crap that is going on behind your back..really sucks .This thing creates files called perflib_perfdata then orphans them and they cant be deleted .You can go to safe mode and delete them but they are recreated when you boot normally again

the files are just part of temp files windows creates during normal operation... just like the body buildsup gas LOL
you can't delete them in normal mode because the files are in use.

I don't think the analyzer can be turned off
