My daughter married a Hispanic fellow, he is wonderful and treats her so well... they have a gorgeous little girl... She is adorable and we all love her so much! You said you have a beautiful son and are very happily married, that is all that really matters for some people! Love is the most important thing in the world, it will get you through anything!
Don't let anyone else try to make you feel bad, just smile when those other women look at you... they are only jealous of what you have! It's their own problem! Good luck!

All that matters is that you and your husband are happy and you have a loving, nurturing relationship. That is what is important for your children to see and be a part of as they grow. Don't worry about what other people may think. You don't know for sure what thos women are thnking, maybe they are jealous. Let it go, and enjoy your family- that is the best way to prove your life, marriage and choices count if you feel you have something to prove.

The same reason I used to get dirty looks from White females and Black men for dating a White man. Unfortunately, some people feel a sense of ownership and possession when it comes to race, inspite of the fact that there's a serious double standard. A fair question to ask is, why do you care?
Solution: Stop looking at them looking at you, and maybe they won't see your insecurities. Enjoy your life and the child you have together and expect people to stare.

Love is all that counts. I am Latina and my husband is African-American. There are always ignorant people in the world but I like to think that our generation is coming to the realization that race doesn't matter. What is important is a person's integrity and character not the color.

As long as you and your husband and child are happy don't worry about the looks other people give you because you married him not other people and many people are still stuck in this time machine and they'll never leave it and i feel sorry for them because they'll never know that it's good people from all races and walks of life so that's their problem at least you can smile and they can only frown at you because their probably really miserable.

Well i don't really know but a lot of the older people or older generation don't approve of interracial relationships because that's not what they were taught when they were younger. But i mean it's the 21st century they're going to have to get used to it. I wouldn't really worry about it cause it is love that matters not the way a person looks.

It takes a sensitive person to understand your question. As well as it does for you to know what it is like to have the men of your race snatched by another race that does not treat all people equally.
Filipino probably believe in sticking to your their own kind. And to see one of their men gone to another race is like a slap in the face.
It will take one who is a minority to better understand why you're being treated like you are. It's much deeper than the color of your skin.

Probably because they think that's not how things are usually done. People can be very close minded. They like the traditional way of things, which means marrying from within your own ethnic group.
