my tank is green and im using a gravle vac to clean it but im wondering how much water i can take out its a 29 gallon tank and ples no presents i dont care about those just how many gallons

if it green it probably algae or new tank syndrome either way you should change 15 gallon a day until it clears up. after that you can switch to only 8 gallons a month. but you might want to get a test kit to test you levels of nitrites, nitrates and ammonia to see if its new tank syndrome. if its algae remove your tank from direct sunlight of buy algae killer, but be careful with it because you could end up killing you fish with to much.

turn the lights off and cut down on the amount of light it gets and that should take care of the green
