Where does one find a place to buy stocks if you live outside the USA?

I have tried a few places now on the net but when I try to regester all the sites only have acceptance of US zip codes. I live in Canada. I always thought American Corporations were arragant but I never realized how much. No offence to American people I'm sure they have hearts like anyone else

I think it's "homeland security". Also taxes would have to be reported to canada. What you need is a canadian stock broker. I think there is a merrill lynch, but you'd prolly rather have a discount broker. Anyway, the canadiens will be familar with canada.
