No, not really. I would prefer to get into the history of Abraham, the first great prophet and truly a holy man. As well, the history of Gnostic Christianity and the Dead Sea Scrolls are interesting, and the early history of religion during the Roman Empire would also be fascinating. I am also a little curious about the Alawites and Druze, just so that I could get a better impression of what their ideas are.

If it had new information (which I doubt would happen, as we know a whole lot about that subject). If it were the same info I've learned in every ancient lit and humanities class I've ever taken, no thank you.

Sure, if it had some new research. I'm a folklorist, and new research or even new ideas are what I tend to look for, not rehashings.
