We weren't even supposed to see it. I mean, it was great to actually have proof that he is actually dead, but is it still wrong?

If Saddam remained alive, he could constantly be a possibility. factors of his political/offender gadget nevertheless exist. a detention center wreck, a militia coup, a metamorphosis of regime simply by social upheaval---who knows what would desire to ensue interior the destiny. as properly, he's to blame for no less than 3 hundred,000 murders, not counting war deaths. His case is superb. i'm exceptionally specific that the witnesses cutting-edge would desire to tell the real Saddam from a pretend Saddam. And the telephone did not shy away, however the section under the gallows replaced into poorly lighted. we will hear extra approximately it.

I gawk at your sentence, "it was great to actually have proof that he is actually dead." I can never understand all you believers of Capital Punishment. No matter how bad the criminal, NO ONE has the right to take away someone else's life. Saddam was a horrid person, no doubt about it. But at the end of the day, he was human. The worst the world should have given him was life imprisonment and the rest of his life in his four walls to recall the pain he inflicted upon others and live in guilt. But death? What are we doing here? Playing God? No one has the right, I repeat, to take away another's life. And as for you, you watched the saddam hanging video. No big deal. At least you weren't the ones who decided to kill him. If there's someone who deserves to be executed, it'd be Bush. Americans entrusted their lives and the lives of others onto him by making him president. And what did he do? He begun wars and killed thousands of innocent lives. Best of all, he sent so many of his own people to die in Afghan. How presidential is that? But alas, I don't believe in capital punishment so I shan't fantasize about Bush being hung.

The last minutes of Saddam Hussein

Saddam (as the noose is put around his neck): Ya Allah (Oh God).

Someone in the audience: Mercy be on those who pray for Mohammed and the household of Mohammed (Everyone repeats the prayer, including Saddam)

Executioner and two people in the audience: And hasten his return (the Mehdi), curse his enemy and grant victory to his son, Muqtada, Muqtada, Muqtada! (This is a common Sadrist chant.)

Saddam (smirking): Muqtada?

NSA Muwafaq Al-Rubai'i: To Hell!

Saddam: (laughing)

Prosecutor Munqidh Al-Far'awn: Please, no.

Muwafaq Al-Rubi'i: Long live Mohammed Baqir Al-Sadr!

Someone in the audience: To Hell!

Saddam (solemnly recites the Shahada prayer): I witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Mohammed is the messenger of Allah.
I witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Mohammed is the- (trap door is opened).

Audience: Prayers for Mohammed and the household of Mohammed.

Someone: The tyrant has fallen. May Allah's curse be upon him.

Someone: No. No. Stay back.

Someone: Leave him for 8 minutes. Don't take him down.

Someone: Everyone. Stay back.

Yeah, it is totally wrong.

First place it was illegal and unjust to hang him. He was still President of Iraq, in the eyes of law. It is truth and that cannot be denied that USA has invaded a sovereign country Iraq with no reason. Further more they went against the will of whole world and UN mandate. It is Mr. Bush and Tony should be hanged not Saddam.

Furthermore, in UK and USA, the hanging is ban and condemned, how come they are practicing this Jungle law in Iraq.

Mr. Bush has proven that world is no better than a Jungle and he can practice his animal law where ever, when even he liked.

Who is bad one who screwed nations (USA, Iraq, Afghanistan) or one who screwed intern?

i think it's a form of glorifying his death. yes, he wasn't the greatest man and didn't do the best things, and maybe death by hanging wasn't the best solution, but regardless, it happened. i dont' think it's wrong that you watched it, but it's rather how you react to it. i find a problem when people are like OH THAT'S SO AWESOME DID YOU SEE HIM SUFFER?! so it's more of a personal thing...if you feel bad about it, don't watch it. hope this helped :)

When you need to take a poll on your action such as this, yep, there is something wrong, trundle on down to local library and check out couple books on morality.

I may not agree with you that you have watched the video of Saddam for his proof of death. There are tons of materials to prove this. Human nature look for curious things. This was an unusual event. It is difficult for human nature to resist to watch the video.

I watched it. I don't feel that it was wrong either. We see more violence in the media than that. They filmed Daniel Pearl and aired it on the internet. Now that was wrong. I didn't watch that nor do I want to.
