im testing out the skinny jean and bought my first pair .. they'er black skinny jeans and i wanted to know if i can wear them high heels that are black with the wooden-y heel. and if i can ... what kind of top can i wear with them?

Wooden heel – no no! Unless it is stiletto like or narrow (I’m guessing it is clunky), I would not do it. The fitted leg of the jeans will bunch at the top of the shoe, making your legs look chunky or even shorter. The pant should cover a bit of the shoe, maybe about an inch or two. Although give it a shot, see what you think!
I recommend either a ballet flat or a narrow shoe with a decent skinny heel. Try BCBG or KORS. Also, tucking the jeans into a boot is another great option.
When wearing skinny jeans, you should wear a top that at least covers the waistband of the jeans. I like to wear tops that cover half the back pocket of my jeans then throw on a embellished belt over it. With the skinnyness of the jeans and heels, a longer top will enlongate your body, making it appear thin and the belt will create curves. I'd stick to colors or a simple pattern. Have fun with it!

I wouldn't do a wooden heel shoe with black skinny jeans. Go for an all black heel to elongate the legs for a night out.

I think u could wear them with a good wooden heel but i have also worn skinny jeans with flats(which are more comfortable for me) but do whatever suits u. oh and a nice black shirt would go well or maybe try adding some color---hope it helps!

I love my skinny jeans. I have 3 pair. I wear them with spike heel boots. High heels are perfect for them. As for top-whether you wear it layered or alone, it should be at least to the hips or beyond.
I'm lucky, I can wear this particular trend, since my age makes me more cautious. But have been complimented very nicely when wearing this outfit. Hope I helped.

Yes! heels elongate your legs and makes those skinny jeans even sexier. Top? A babydoll if you have a bit of a tummy it is really flattering. But, if you are a stick figure you can wear just about anything.
