What exactly do you mean by 'use of'?
We generally learn something because we feel an interest towards it,and we want to know more about it because of that interest.
Indian classical is a vast gamut of music, varying regionally, linguistically and even with dialects. When a person wants to learn Indian Classical,he/she should identify their specific interest by listening to the different types of Indian classical music and then start learning from an accomplished person in the field(who are a bit difficult to find).
