I think about 99% of people who have ever had a job of any kind has felt this way...it is rough..sometimes all you can do is to TRY to be thankful that you have a source of income...unless your workplace is unsafe or you are being abused there...in those cases I would say QUIT.

I did it for four years. My boss was drunk most of the time and his wife was bi-polar. She'd be screaming at me one minute and then would start to cry and be hugging me the next. He would come into my office and play with himself when he was drunk and not remember anything the next day. I kept the place glued together for four years before I had a wake up call in the form of a severe heart attack. After the doctors let me out of the hospitol I walked into the office and quit. I haven't regretted it since. The money simply isn't worth it. Your dignity and self respect is worth more than gold. Take my advise and get out while you have your health. Believe me I've been there.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah...then I quit. :>) When my blood pressure went up to 150/90 at 25 years old, even the doctor told me to quit my job. I was working for 4 attorneys without out the help of computers and only a typewriter. They had 2 years of piled up cases sitting on the desk my first day. Even with my girlfriends help after hours we couldn't catch up. 3 weeks later, I quit.

Did that for 4 years. Then I went to the Coast guard. No regrets. Take a chance and get out. There is always a way. There are people out there to help you change careers. Go to job and family resources. I feel for you be there done that. Good luck.

Yes I have - and it is not worth it. It affects you mentally, and eventually physically.
Your tombstone is not going to say, " Man, If I could have only worked one more day !!! "
But since we have to work, let's do something that we get some enjoyment or satisfaction from.
I finally took the leap in faith and it paid off.
Good Luck - God Bless
