I have had the tank for over a month now. The tank had a guppy and 2 corys in it for the first month and another guppy was just added. The water levels were great before adding the second guppy and with the bio-wheel I thought it would be ok to add the second guppy. I was wondering if a third guppy would be pushing it? I clean the tank every week including vacuuming the gravel and I also have an airstone for better aeration.

Have had many tanks over the years, from 5 gal. to 65gal. Rule of thumb as you know is and inch of fish per gallon. Don't think your overstocked. I always tended to put more fish in the tanks than called for, and never had a problem.

Sounds like you clean on a regular basis. This is a good thing when having more fish. Don't think you'll be pushing it. Add a couple more.

The size that the fish grow to at maturity is limited by the tank size. Of course you have to consider if you have a male and female guppy.....when and if they mate...you may have many babies!

It will be fine, but watch you ammonia levels for a while just to make sure that the tank has finished its bacteria cycle. It wouldn't hurt to add some real plants as well. It will help with cleaning the water as well as making the fish feel more comfortable. You would need a low light plant like Java Moss (Vesicularia dubyana), or Java Ferns (Microsorum pteropus).

Unless you've got 2 male guppies, you'll soon have 100 guppies. The females are literally born pregnant.

If you have both male and female guppies then you're gonna have 10000000 of them in a few months.

no you will be fine. you could probably add 3 more. the thing is though with guppies if they are all male they will bite the hell out of each others tails, so make sure you have at least a one to one ratio.
