Because feel good stories only last for a season or two. Then the media and others carry on about Brady being the second coming of Montana. After a while, you start routing against them just to shut the talking heads up. I think that is why Brady doesn't get a lot of fan recognition.
Personally, I thought it was great that such a talent fell in the draft and got some recognition. But it got carried away. He is a good quarterback in a good system. That is all.

Reche Caldwell and Jabar Gaffney are not homeless bums. They get free, they coordinate well with Brady. The line, guys like Koppen, Kaszur and Light, buy so much time it looked like the Jets were counting 5 Mississippi before rushing. No it's a whole team and it would be very sweet to show everyone with a memory so short that they can't remember 2 years ago, that Tom Brady is a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame already.

Im not a Tom Brady doubter. In fact I like the way Tom Brady plays. I think there are many doubters cause the pats have recently won 3 super bowls this decade. Whenever you play for a winning team especially like new england has in this decade, other fans outside of boston would doubt them. I use to doubt them when they won the first super bowl. I honestly thought they got lucky. but as years go by three super bowls aint a fluke, so I respect them a lot. Im not sure if hes a montana(maybe until he wins it one or two more times). I at least see him as an aikman.

Some people like the flashiness of Manning or Vick over those darn Super Bowl titles. Personally I like the team concept and fine coaching of the Patriots organization.
