I know a few people that do this and I get really annoyed by it. If you actualy say that you have something nice they get P O -ed big time. I think it is just so rude to brag about EVERYTHING. Now some things I will say people do deserve bragging rights though!! But I need to know how to deal with a few in particular. Thanks

Most peoply that brag (in my opinion) do so to make themselves feel better because of a lack of self-esteem. If you are good friends with these people and want to continue having a relationship with them, try to realize they do it because they are lacking in some other area (perhaps you can help with that) and ignore it. OR, if you are not that close, and it is really so bothersome you cannot stand it, quit hanging around them.

I wouldn't let-em get you down for (one). and (2) I would act like I am looking at something? getting something? like your mind is busy elsewhere? and just say something like oh yea! then go about what your doing or "you could just out right change the subject, to your views, popularity" Besides what do you have to lose? Have fun.

actually, i always encounter these kind of people everyday of my life.... i just ignore them but it just drives me nuts so i sleep.... sometimes if i rreally can't stand it... i start to walk around and breathe for fresh air or chat with the people whom i think are real....

well dont get involved with them or they will get hot headed and try to prove who they say they are. dont get involved with them or just leave them alone. good luck
