I'm trying to buy wholesale items from a company in China. They offer Western Union and Bank Transfer. If I send a bank transfer, will they get my account and routing number information? Also, how much do those typically cost? Thanks.

If I were you, you may want to go with the Western Union deal, unless of course you know your trading partner and trust them entirely.

An International wire processed by your bank could run you any where between $35.00 and $50.00, unless you have a business account that you will be sending from with your bank.

You better go through Pay Pal it is secured for a buyer.
I can give you a link that deals with Payapl & Ebay transactions through Paypal. PayPal is one of the most popular online money transfer systems widely used for online auctions, pay to surf programs, e-books and purchase of low value goods. It is now a part of the online auction website eBay. More details available at

It is totally safe. They have to provide YOU with THEIR bank information - you dont send them ANYTHING.

The only risk is that you may lose your money and they will never ship the item...

Also, be aware that US customs sometimes tacks on HUGE customs charges for importing items from China.
