Yard sales are the best place I found for baby furniture.
You can get some great deals and most of the time you can haggle for a lower price then whats listed on the item.
Second hand stores usually pick the stuff up at yard sales and resell with a profit . .. so cut out the middleman and get to those yard/garage sales pronto!
ebay is another option

Try looking in the classified ads, or check out second-hand stores or garage sales. Depending on where you are from, and if you are low-income, you might even check with the Family Independance Agency and ask for a referral for baby items.

Check out the consignment stores that carry baby clothes, etc. stores in your area. They are usually very careful about what they sell - you want to be sure it is safe. Try Craigs List, Freecyle.com, penny saver, garage sales (but that could take you forever looking), email your address book and ask if anyone has one or knows someone....Just be sure any baby furniture is SAFE and meets the standards of the government so your baby won't get hurt! Also, be sure to sterilize it.

check out www.freecycle.org. It's one of my yahoo groups and you can find out if there's a group that's local for you. It's a group that helps people recycle their used stuff, and everything that's posted is FREE. If there's a local group, you could always post a wanted ad, and see if anyone has one that you can have. IF that doesn't work for you, put the word out with any friends that have kids, they are more likely to know other people with kids. Check ebay, garage sales, newspapers, and any other local publications that have ads (like we have pennysavers here). Oh and how could i forget second-hand shops...

infants do not understand or care whether their crib, intense chair, etc. are new or hand me downs from an older sibling. What distinction is it going to make to her? with the aid of the time she's sufficiently previous to understand the version, maximum of those toddler products would be offered or thrown out or given away and that they're going to easily be a distant reminiscence. ascertain each baby gets some new presents for their birthday/Christmas and take care of them relatively starting to be up. Love them and spend time with them. that's what's relatively going to remember interior the long-term. My son used all the comparable toddler equipment as his huge sister, different than for distinctive clothing. i'm watching for #3 now and could be utilising lots of the comparable stuff back - do not even want new toddler clothing this time on account that I have already got female and boy stuff. we are able to be getting a clean vehicle seat this time simply by fact the previous one replaced into used as quickly as we've been given it from a buddy, and this is expired now, yet that's approximately it. we've a handful of things - clothing, books, toys - that have been mine while i replaced right into a baby that my mothers and dads stored. My teenagers LOVE attending to apply those issues. the undeniable fact that they are used (with the aid of me and my sisters) certainly makes them extra specific to them. My daughter many times gets hand-me-down clothing from a buddy at church, and back she thinks that's super! She knows those issues was her (older) buddy's and she or he's excited to get to positioned on them.
