I was at a card show when i decided to buy a pack of Topps bball cards of the 03-04 season, as I opened it I noticed a few good cards, then the last card was a LeBron James rookie #1 draft pick with him holding the jersey with the cap on, I've searched on sites but don't see how much its worth, I saw once for a $100, when he does get better should I sell this or keep it? Hard to decide, but for now he's a keeper

Hold on to it. It will only increase in value as time goes on. If you had a Michael Jordan rookie card in 1986 it was worth about $10 at best. Now it would go for thousands. You got it for less that $3 so hold on to it for a few more years at least.

I have about 5 Lebron rookie cards and I wouldnt sell any of them until he's retired for 5 years. Hang on to it for sure. In the 03-04 season I had a Lebron "scratchcard" for some fantasy game online, I scratched it off to find some random numbers and threw it away cause I thought it was worthless. Big mistake. I was at a card shop a few months ago and had the same card for $50. So definately hang on to it for a few more years and you may find yourself looking at RV's.

The LeBron James Topps RC from 2003-2004 is booking for $20, according to current Beckett price guides.
Don't look at eBay for value comparisons since that place is more of a buyer's market and rarely does a card get the value it is rated there.

Get it graded by Becket and save it, look at how mch money a JOrdan rookie is worth!!!! Cards are like the stock market, buy a players card cheap, and when he gets better, sell. But i he gets worse, wou're out o luck

You definitely want to hold on to that card. The rookie card in my avatar is worth some serious cash going up in stock

I would keep it, unless you want to sell it to me, then we can discuss that too. But really I don't know exactly which one you have, but have you tried looking it up at beckett.com? for me, they have the easiest and most concise price look up. Here's the link: http://www.beckett.com/Navigation/Controller.osi?N=19&x=0&y=0
