I'm interested in how much different chiropractors charge for different services. Can you please answer the following questions.

1. What state are you in?

2. How much does he / she charge for an office visit?

3. How much does he / she charge for an adjustment?

Thank you for all of the answers.

so are you guys saying that the adjustment is included in the price of the exam, it's like an all in one type deal?

And what about cash paying patients, do you know if people who are paying cash, are paying the same amount as insurance patients?

It depends on the state. In Rhode Island, all insurance is PPO or HMO and the price depends on the company. Blue Cross pays $45 per visit no matter what the DC does on that visit. United Health only pays $25, but by law they are supposed to match BCBS. Cash prices depend on the DC and the code they use. Some charge ash at the lowest code the insurance companies use to avoid being sued by the insurance companies, but still give the uninsured a small break.

Chiropractors are probably the only health care providers that attempt to help out people who are underinsured, and when it comes to chiro services, alomst everyone is because they usually have a 12 visit limit. That is barely adequate to get the most healthiest of patients feeling even remotely better.

1) I just started going back to my chiropractor after taking a break. She's helping me with my sprained ankle and after the first visit, I could definitely feel a difference. I usually feel immediate relief but it can wear off in a couple hours if I don't sit correctly.
2) I guess it depends on the health insurance plans since I only have to pay a $10 co-pay. Everything else is covered by the health insurance.
3) She adjusted me the first time I went to her. She charged me $10 then too.

California
Ive worked for about 5 different chiros and they range from $35-85 a visit. And all places i worked the adjustment and the office visit were the same cost. I dont see why there would be a difference.
