Pastels are great, steer clear of black, you will look goth (unless that's what you're going for) and avoid skin tone colors. They will blend too much and wash you out. Orange is definitely a no no for someone with pale skin.

mostly, pastels...but NO bright colors, as someone here suggested; bright or fluorescent shades make you look washed out and MORE PALE due to the contrast...are you pale, as in pinkish tone, or pale as in a warmer skin tone? you have to use colors that go with your skin tone; if pink, or cool, then blues, grays, sometimes black, reds, pinks, etc...if warm tone, browns, beiges, tans, yellows, corals, etc..............it really works.email me if you have any other questions.........always happy to help!

Try colors you usually don't wear. Maybe natural colors or pastel colors like purple, etc.

you should stick to pastel-like colors and softer neutrals with rose and blue undertones in it. plum, lavender, brown, and light blue are good.
