GATOOR BABY. SEC. F*** everybody who didn't think Florida wasn't gonna win. Ohio St never beat an SEC team and that losing streak is STILL ALIVE. Tory Smith NO. Ted Ginn NO. SEC teams are STRONG FAST and GOOD. Who ever had thought Florida didn't deserve to be in the championship. LOL. I betcha thinking TWICE NOW. Look at Michigan, they got whip by that sorry a$$ USC. Florida came and dominate. Y'all forgot the state of Florida has the FASTEST guys in all. THE SEC is the BEST. FLORIDA IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

Nebraska was the last Big 12 team to hand Florida a loss in a major bowl game, and for the championship no less. The Big 12 can't hang with any SEC powerhouse. LSU, Florida, and Ole Miss have already proven that. Anyway, it's too early in the season to say Florida has an easy schedule. At least half the SEC conference is bowl eligible at the end of every year. Despite Tennessee's loss, I expect them to go to a bowl this year. Ole Miss, Georgia, Kentucky, and South Carolina will be bowl teams this year. Also, the Pac-10 has nothing except USC and Cal. Even they couldn't hope to beat a Florida or Alabama team. Florida would beat USC by atleast three touchdowns...bank on it.

Tressel blew the game. The Buckeyes have an offensive line that averages 300lbs-310lbs against a defensive line that averages 275lbs-280lbs. Why the hell did Antonio Pittman only run the ball 9 times??? You neutralized speed by running right at it. When you pass the ball, you speed the game up against a team that has more speed. I can't figure it out.
Everyone knows that the SEC is noted for teams with great team speed and BIG teams are bigger and more physical. Florida is not a better team than Ohio State, but Tennessee is a better team than Penn State and Arkansas is a better team than Wisconsin but Penn State and Wisconsin won because they played BIG10 style football and exploited the size advantage up front. They ran the ball down their throats and beat up a faster, but smaller and less physical defense.
In short, Tressel coached a horrible game. It wasn't the layoff, it wasn't losing Ginn, all these things are excuses. Regardless of the sorry a job Tressel did in coaching this game, even thats an excuse (even though its true). We got beat by a team that wanted it more. Bottom Line. Congrats Florida fans.

Yep--saw parts of it. Urban's goofy offense did the trick--and the defense was, well, remarkable, against a superior team!! That's why the game is played. if it were all on paper, we could mail it in!
Considering how much weaker the SEC is than it was a couple of years ago, the ************ OSU received was definitely a surprise.
Nice to see that the vastly underrated Wisconsin could come thru for the Big 10. Wish Wisconsin could have played Notre Dame--would've been similar to what Fla did to OSU tonight, I suspect...

I'm not an OSU or Florida fan, but being an SEC fan I was happy and surprised after all the hype that Florida dominated the Buckeyes that way. All the haters need to quit whining and save themselves for the next season! Here's wishing good luck to all your teams, for college football rules!

Im glad Florida won the game. First of all Ohio State has beaten the oklahoma sooners. Second Florida is one of my favorite teams. Last but not least everyone that said Ohio was going to win can now be quiet.

Loved the outcome!! After all the hipe about Ohio, to see them get easily and clearly beaten was great. Except now, we'll have to listen to all the excuse makers explain what happened to poor Ohio. Just like after, Boise beat Oklahoma.
Gators eat Buckeyes.

Everyone who said OSU was going to roll can eat their humble pie now. I don't care about the 50 day layoff. I don't care about Ginn getting hurt by his own team. It wouldn't have mattered. OSU was out coached, out played, and out muscled.
