I like them, but traditionally the boy spelling for Erin is "Aaron". I think if he were named "Erin" he would be picked on his entire school-life.
A lot of people really don't like the rhyming or sound-alike twin names, but I do. I named my girls Rachel & Rebecca. Have fun with this and I think it is an honor that she is trusting you to name her babies. Congratulations to all!

Erika very cute, not a fan of Erin. If you are trying to stick with the same letter another letter would probably be easier. If I had twins I always liked the names Anna and Austin!

Well one is Irish and the other is Scandanavian so other than the first letters they are pretty international.
I would hope that the boy would be Eric, not Erika . . .
I think your cousin would ultimately have a hard time calling the correct child to come - the names sound too much alike. Erin and Edward?

I have twins I wish I had used names with different first letters because you get mail, school reports bank accounts etc. with the same inital and it can sometimes be a hassle, mine are boy and girl too but they don't always have Mr and Miss on things. I used the same first letter on the names on pourpse but didn't realise the problems untill school started even with the different sexes. I do like the names though. But both those names are girls names to me. Also a name that is long and can be shortened is good because then they have a choice of what they like i.e. Elizabeth , Liz, Elle, Beth, Eliza etc. so the parents and kids can choose a nick name they like. Good luck it's a big resposnability.

I love Erika, not as crazy about Erin though for a boy atleast. My husbands daughter's name is Erika.
Or:
Erika and Ethan
Erika and Evan
Erika and Edmund
Erika and Edwin
Erika and Ewan
Erika and Elliott
Good luck!

I think you mean cousin? wow that is quite an honor, I'm suprised your cousin would let you do such a thing, what does the father think?
Erin is usually the girl form of Aaron. So if a boy's name is that I would go with Aaron.
Erika is an ok name, not somthing I would personally pick.
Never name twins with rhyming names, thats just sad and I feel horrible for them once they hit high school.

Totally different names are best. The twins will be completely different from one another, so two very different names that sound good together would be preferable.
Boys: Liam, Henry, James, Alex, Benjamin, Matthais, Kaden, Jackson, Aaron.
Girls: Anna, Laura, Jade, Ava, Riley, Maizie, India, Savannah, Allison, Brielle.
(Erin is the girl's spelling of the name Aaron!)

If one is a girl and one is a boy, don't use Erin and Erika. Those are both girls names spelled that way. You could always use Erin for girl and Erik for boy, or Ehren for boy and Erika for girl. But either way, I do like those names.

Hi! Great choices! Go with your gut cuz you are the one given the honor of naming them. Erin is usually the way a female name is spelled. A male name with the same sound is spelled
AAron. You must be a very sweet person for your cousin to let you do this. She must really love and trust you! God Bless!

i had twin friends when I was 5, but their names were Alex & Jessica, it was really cute!!!!!
I like the names you picked, except the male version of erin is Aaron
Some names that you could think about are,
Aaron & Amanda
Christian & Faith (if your religious Faith, Grace or Hope would be cute too)
Nicholas & Natalie
Timothy & Tanya
I'm sure I could think of more....try going to some baby name websites, and just see what sounds good together.
