Women have to wear men's shoes in today's society because there are so many loser men out there that women have to take their place. I know of many, many men who are too lazy and too sorry to take care of their children - leaving it to the woman to be a mother, father and the person who works. Never think that women want to be men - they don't. They simply step up to the plate and do what has to be done to make a life for their families.

First of all, to answer your actual question: Because men are socialized to deny the 'womanly' behaviors, but women are no longer as strongly socialized to deny 'manly' behaviors. So it's got WAY more to do with men not copying women than women choosing to do things 'woman style' or not. Men can be victims or stereotyped gender behavior than men.
Also, not all women are trying to be like men. In addition, as I said above, gender roles are pretty rigid and stereotyped, and when you get down to it there are few things in behavior that are purely male or female.
Yes, hormes do affect behavior (stereotypically, that's PMS for women and all the time for some testosterone-laden men ;-). However, if you take stereotypical behavior, women can be strong, assertive, independent, etc. and men can be nurturing, emotional, quick to hug friends, etc.

No, we are not trying to copy after men. And what examples are we suppose to follow? I really can't think of any examples that I would want to follow in the footsteps of a man. Women have been holding it together for centuries. We can bring home the bacon and cook it too.

Women like to kill things and wear comfortable clothes, too. enough with the stupid stereotypes. they need the practice and athletic bodies for....well...i think you know what i mean.
