Now that you said that, the SEC has been week before and will be again, the Big Ten was the best last year, with PSU and OSU. This game and the Fiesta bowl just proves to me that any team in college football can win any day, that is why there should be a playoff. Im not dissing the SEC, it is the strongest conference but it isnt dominant Big Ten teams beat pretty good SEC teams in bowl games this year, by the way im a Big East fan, and I do agree the Pac-10 is way overrated, but you cant really judge teams by conferences you have to do it on an independent basis.

Exactly. OSU just was not better than the Gators, plain and simple. Smith would not be able to get the ball to Ginn anyway so I totally agree that he wouldn't make a difference. Another scary thought for the Bucks is that Florida was playing conservatively in the second half, they could have won 70-14 but unlike the Bucks believe, us Gators do have some class and don't run the score up on weaker opponents, which is what OSU did to get all that publicity.

Podunk State was on Florida's schedule, Sept.2 as Southern Miss; Sept.9 as Central Florida, Nov.18 as W.Carolina. But then again, there aren't to many teams that will go outside their conference against good teams. Most want cream puffs. Even USC went outside for a cream puff game at Arkansas.

if osu had better teams in there division then they wouldnt have such an ez schedule. OSU dosnt pick whos in there division. No offence to the sec tho, great conference, better then the big 10, florida outplayed them. But u cant put down OSU because they have bad teams in there conference. they have to play them. we also played texas who was ranked 2nd at the time. who did florida play outside there division that was good? (not a sarcastic question i really am wondering)

big east is the most underrated conference there is. Louisville deserved a shot at being in this game in my opinion. they too only had one loss, and it was a tough, close road game against a then #15 ranked rutgers..
based on the way Ohio State played tonight, Louisville coulda beat them badly too.
but having said that, congrats to florida. they had a great season. they won some key games and tough games.. they deserve to be considered one of the best teams.. but i'm not ready to call them the clear undisputed champs unless they have a playoff system and also go thru louisville, boise state and wisconsin.

what an embarrassment! Especially after Ginn returned the opening kickoff for a TD, and possibly sprained his ankle during his TD celebration!( Brent Musberger quote on espn radio)

SHUT UP DUDE, if we would've brought our A ame and did't have a 2 month break we would have owned you. And how are you over rated when you kill mostly every opponent and go undefeated. Oh yeah and how are you a bad team with a player like Troy Smith, where was Chris Leak in the heisman voting?

Nice thoughts from fellow rival. you know chris went to Florida because CJ was benched by your coach. Florida's and SEC's gain that he didn't go to Ohio State.

LEE J, PUT THE CRACK PIPE DOWN AND QUIT WHINING! Florida had the same layoff and actually BROUGHT their "A" game, so don't even go there. TnVolPHd, I know where you're coming from!
