well lets see.. I worked some fast food and cashier jobs when I was a teenager living at home. Then after I turned 18 I got a job at a sewing factory (wasn't for me) cuz I only lasted 3 months. So I went to another factory and worked there for about 4 years until after I got married and had 2 children. My oldest is in school and my youngest is still at home. But this setting at home making no money is getting old. So I am looking to go back to work but I really don't wanna go back to doing any of other the jobs I have already done. I would like to work in an office or something of the sort. I would like to work morning to around 5'ish. I only have a high school diploma. So would I need to go to college or is there any jobs like the ones I mentioned that only require a high school diploma?

Here's what I would do work on any office skills that you lack knowledge of. For instance: Microsoft word, Excel, Power point and maybe brush up the old resume and cover letter.

Most (Business, medical and dental) office employer’s look for folks that have a great general knowledge in Microsoft Office. Another thing employers look at is your resume, it is the first impression they have of you mainly regarding your skills and education. Most computers have software that will aid you in creating your resume. Just ask friends and family to look over your drafts of both resumes and cover letters. Also try finding a college that offer certificates in Business Admin., you might luck out.

Best wishes,
Mike

You might consider starting off in a temp. service - they have a good success rate in job placement, and can evaluate your skills and match them with what's in demand in your area. It will also give you some contacts to use for references on a resume. You can tell them what hours you have avail., and they can try and put you in a job with similar hrs. Also, you may be able to try different things to see what you might want to pursue in any future schooling (for example, maybe work as a receptionist in a medical office to see if the medical or secretarial field either one interest you) Good luck!
