i had a computer class a long time ago and the teacher told me that it takes like half a KB ever time it comes on and u cant get it back i was just wanting to know if this is ture plz tell me.

yes eacuse anything you download takes up space. lol, have fun uninstalling them! sorry, jus a little joke -_-

Actually, you get the 500 bytes back when the screensaver goes off, and thats not even 1% of the computer's memory.

It takes some memory to run, but obviously when the screensaver is not running (displaying), the memory is reclaimed (just like any other program)

It depends on the screen saver.. A regular screen saver should not eat up a significant amount. Not too mention, it would only use the memory when you are not on the computer.

It does use some of your memory to run, just disable it if you are short of memory or if it slows your computer down running in the background.

yup...it's true..even wallpapers use up memory on ur computer....
