I never spend more than 15 minutes. I have a degree in Psychology and practice teaching psychology. If I don't know what I am talking about I generally don't waste my time, and I don't waste time putting a response that isn't edited for proper (or as close to proper as we can get) English. I look at this forum as a method of people to find out all types of information, from a good pub in London to directions from the Canaria Airport to a local hotel. Good luck!

Depends. As an evolutionary biologist I have a rather broad base in behavior to call on. This is the social science section, so there is really very little need to research anything here. Now, in the science section, some of those questions, especially in chemistry and functional biology, can keep me hopping.

I generally only respond to questions that I can answer using my own life experiences. I don't look anything up or research an answer. That wouldn't be worth my time.

In point of actual fact the simple answer would be that the time spent on answering the question would depend entirely upon the answerer's knowledge, resources, and willingness to be of assistance, wouldn't it?
