Ok, here is the entire story before I ask the question because you need this to make your decision. My uncle, two years ago, died on January 16th. The second anniversary of his death is coming up, and for about a month before his death, he was in the hospital. He had a bunch of stuff wrong with him, but the main thing was pancreatitis. That's what landed him there. He also had liver problems. He was the uncle I was closest to and could literally talk to about anything. I've been having a very hard time lately, one of many since his death, and was thinking about him among the three people lost that year (one to brain cancer and one to sudden stroke). This is going to sound weird, but the light in my hallway started flickering and flashing neurotically. I had just left it and was in the bedroom where my husband and daughter were. I looked at it, and for some reason I am not very sure of, said "Ok Uncle Jimmy". The moment after I said that, it stopped. Is this him or what?

I wanted to add that other items in the house have done odd things. We have a satellite receiver, and that will go off on its own when either I or my daughter are around. Right after his death, I saw a shadowy figure in the corner of my living room looking sad and with its head turned to the side. And my brand new stove would shut off on its own. The other members of the family have reported the same things, and my electric was tested and that's fine. My mom told me the TVs in her house turn themselves on and off. Basically everyone who was there had something happen. One more thing, when these things happen, it gets freezing cold in the house even when the heat is at 80.

Talk to him. Call him by name. Let him know that you love him still and that you miss him, but that it is ok for him to be at rest if that is what is best for him. Tell him that even though you are going through a hard time,he doesn't have to hang around to make sure that your ok, you can talk to him no matter where he is and there are others waiting for him.

Start reading some Sylvia Brown books. She has written about the Spirits and electricity. Lights on/off, stereo, computers and such. Pick up a copy of "The other side and back". She has a way of comforting you. She's spiritual but not overboard. Good reading.!

It's possible. Maybe he just wants to let you know he is ok. You could always contact a medium for a reading. HTH : )

I think so. I have had stuff like this happen to me as well. I truly believe that our loved ones are all around us.

He wants you to know that he's OK and that you can get on with your life. You need to say goodbye because you're holding him earthbound and he doesn't belong here anymore.

maybe he loves you and he is here. I am sure that he is not harmful because he loves you and telling you that he is fine.
