I don't think you can connect to two lines at the same time. Suppose you have and Ethernet line and a wirless conection. you can't really connect with both. And you don't need two lines at the same time. becouse your moddem is in use with either this or that. but If you are doing that to get faster connection it is not going to work that way.

As in a broadband connection AND dialup? or Cable and DSL? Sure, you can do that. In fact, with XP the connections will usually configure themselves, you just have to connect the things up.

No why would u want too. if you are connected thru a phone line then your modem is in use already. an if not mistaken your eithernet card is disabled

yes, get a second nic, or a mobo that supports duel networking.
