I personally have nothing against actors and actresses running for politics, but I personally would vote for someone whom I deemed to be qualified for a position he/she is running in to. If he happens to be from the entertainment industry and has proven him/her self to be WORTHY, then I'd probably vote for this person.
It's one thing to run for the sake of popularity but it's another if the person can really contribute. Although I know whether you're a well known person or not you can actually give back and serve the country even without running for office.

I will vote for them in the barangay election if they really want to rserve. But por dios por santo wag sa senado o sa congreso. carramba! Marami pa naman tayong mga di-kalidad na MAMBABATAS.
I'm calling upon all Filipino people to vote intellegently. (wisely connotes different thing)

hindi naman lahat ng mga artista walang alam..gawin mong example si Vilma Santos..my point is i will vote some artista if i know na may alam silang magpatakbo sa gobyerno..kung may malasakit sila sa kapwa pilipino..may ibang mga artista sasali sa politika eh wala namang alam gusto lang nilang mangurakot..pera lang ng sambayanang pilipino ang gusto nila..

it is just unfair to say that lahat ng artista, gusto lang mangurakot at tatakbo lng dahil laos na. meron din namang mga artista na madami ding nagagawa, even better than other non-artista politicians. let us not give up on our country. if u are of age and never bothered to vote or even register, then you have no right para magreklamo. and hirap kasi sating mga pilipino, we just like to criticize other people, and yet wla naman tayong ginagawa, kahit maliit na bagay para mabago ang pilipinas. matalino na ang mga pilipino ngayon, lalo na ang mga bagong henerasyon. alam na natin kung sino ang nararapat na maglingkod para sa atin. ndi naman tayo basta basta na lng boboto dahil sikat ang isang tao. trust your instinct people, dahil alam kong alam natin ang tama.

No...hindi...nada....what will they do in the government,magpapa-iyak? Hay,naku I don't believe in the capability of filipino actors in politics (lalu na si Richard Gomez) don't vote for him (did he ever finish schooling?)Filipinos are a lot smarter now,noh.So be wise in choosing you candidate,yun ngang nakatapus ng courses about how to run a government,cannot even do their job,what more duon sa mga actors dito?

NO! first, im not a registered voter. im 21 but still havent experienced voting (national or local). that is because i don't trust our system.2nd, kahit hindi pa sya artista,diko sya iboboto.what difference will it make? we are still HERE. if you know what i mean.artista o hinde, they are all the same.
