Victoria's Secret Models usually have to do runway and to do runway modeling you need to be at least 5'8". There is other type of modeling you can do... so just because that may not be the area for you don't worry because you can modeling for ads and magazines and commercials for other top companies... etc.

I doubt you would care to do modeling later in your life when you realize its a very risky and dissapointing career to get into.

First of all, I can't imagine what you would model for at 4'8, other than kids clothes. Even if you were to grow an entire foot taller, that doesn't mean anything. You have to be slim, perfectly porportional, a perfect face, nose, amazing eyes, good facial symmetry, good cheek bones, perfect skin, everything on you has to be aestecially pleasing.

At least if you want to be a Victorias Secret model not to mention you would have to be stacked and have perfect curves

Not to mention modeling is an ART, it may just seem like all they do is walk around, or sit around and take pictures, but its not that easy, if you have a good camera and you don't know how to use it then you're a crappy photographerm and probably wont take good pictures, same goes for modeling, you can look good but if you come to a photoshoot and you cant get the pose or look that the photographer wants you to do, then you're useless.

I'm sure youll grow out of this "I want to be amazingly hot, hotter than everyone I know! And being a model will prove it!" phase.

Yes. I'm sorry but the modeling world is a tough and cut throat place. VS is the worse too!!! If you really want to be a model though you should try modeling for younger "childrens" clothing and then maybe get into something that models for real women and not the lanky and tall, larger than life fake models. Just remember...those types of models consider 5'7'' to be too short.

You're 13. Start in your age before thinking about other things. Model preteen and missy clothing. Maybe you'll grow past 5'7''

To be considered for such an iconic position in the modeling career you have to be the best of the best. You should look into modeling classes and fitness because VS often prides itself on having diverse models so you may have a chance if you work hard. It will be difficult as I believe 5' 7" is the shortest they accept. And no, thats not with heels on.

For Victoria Secret yes. For Walmart and Sears no. Victoria Secret uses top runway models. You would have to be tall and thin. I think Tyra Banks was the largest model they ever used and she is by no means big. Also I can't recall any of their models being under 5"8. But good luck to you and go after your dreams, don't let anyone ever tell you that you can't do it.

Okay unless you grow 12+ inches in the next couple of years, I don't think you could be a Victoria's Secret model as they have to be over 5'9". However you can do a lot of print modeling (pictures in catalogs, magazines etc.) now and later even if you don't get to be very tall.

You have a couple years to grow, but most models, or a least the super models, victorias secret models, are much taller, they have the long thin look. The average height for models is 5'8" and up.

I believe models are normally 5'9" and that even those who are like 5'6" have trouble in the modelling career, but maybe there are options where height doesn't really matter? Also, you probably haven't stopped growing yet, do don't give up hope.

You're still growing...but in case you don't grow super tall you can always be a Sports Illustrated model and not a runway model. Good luck!

At first i was going to say no, until i read the part about you being 4'8". lol. if you were an adult id have to say no because height makes people look thinner. but since your only 13 youll most likely get taller. But look at Eva Longoria; shes like 5 foot or something and one of the most beautiful women alive.
