He should.

He played well under three different systems while in one of the all-time toughest collegiate conferences out there in the SEC. He can't be called a system quarterback (unlike the earlier references to Wuerffel during the game) since he adapted to whoever was coaching at the time and was able to translate it into success on the field. He appears to be the type of player that the professional coaches dream about ... and his performance should boost his ratings up to late 1st Round or early 2nd Round of the 2007 Draft should he decide to go pro.

He didn't need to throw the ball far down the field. He used a strong short passing game to throw off the defense and keep control of the tempo ... sounds like another QB who seems to have found success in the NFL (Tom Brady).

he's like 5'10.5, i does no longer draft him. Very small QBs that could additionally be marginally powerful on the NFL point, do no longer come around very generally. To the guy below me. Brees is a legitament 6'a million, a minimum of 6'5. Leak is listed at 6'0 maximum places, 5'11 in some, yet actually is 5'10-5'11, very like Reggie Bush, who's additionally listed at 6'0. those are no longer precise, and the scouts understand that.

I can see Leak being a Matt Hasselbeck type QB. Be a back-up for 3-4 years, learn that team's system and then come in and do well.
