Over the past two weeks my dog has started to whine a lot.
I am not sure if it is behavourail or if he is hurting. He does not seem to be sickly. Always ready to go for walks eating and drinking well... He does have a ear infection but I have been treating it for two weeks now,

He's had an ear infection for two weeks and he's been whining for two weeks-- the two could be connected. You should have your vet check his ears to be sure you are doing everything you can for them. Good Luck!!

How old is the dog? have any of your daily routines recently been altered? I would also say maybe it is tied to the ear infection since you have been treating it for the same amount of time that he has been whining. Maybe call your vet and see what he/she says.

Maybe the other ear is infected or the med is not working(the bacteria is resistant to that antibiotic). Take him to the vet in the am if u care about him. Could be the ear drum rupturing. Sure would be easier if they could talk.

the ear infection may be getting worse instead of better. He may need stronger treatment...i would take him to the vet right away!!!

Are you away from the house alot? sometimes they could be lonely or not getting enough of attention. Did you ask your vet? Good luck to you and your pooch.
