All the experts were saying that Troy Smith was this year's Vince Young. But Vince Young would have NEVER choked like that. Now that the Gators beat The Ohio State, how many teams and which ones are going to cry about a share of the national championship? My guess is the Volverines who always cries, what about you?

I for one never considered him to be the next Vince Young, I think Pat White at West Virginia might be as good as Young was, at least at the college level, he is 2-0 in bowl games.

No, Troy Smith is not the next Vince Young. He isn't as tall...but also it wasn't all his fault. He had basically NO protection from his line the entire game. Also, not to take away from Vince Young, he has done extremely well in his first year in the NFL, but the refs really messed up the Rose Bowl last year with the no call on the lateral when his knee was down and a few others.
Michigan can't whine about the Championship....they got pounded by USC. USC (10-2) can't make a claim either though because they got beat by two mediocre teams in UCLA (7-6) and Oregon State (10-4). If anybody would even try to make a claim it would be LSU because they only lost to Auburn and Florida. So therefor since they already got beat by Florida they really have no chance either. So nobody besides maybe undefeated Boise State, but it's doubtful they would do that well against Florida.

Michigan can't say anything after being embarassed by USC in the Rose Bowl ... but the Trojans could make a statement for a shared championship. The only problem is that UF has slain too large of a giant for any consideration of splitting the championship honors.
Florida locks up the BCS Championship, silences all the critics, and gives the school TWO National Championships within the span of a year (NCAA March Madness and the BCS). With this win, the University of Florida becomes the #1 school in the nation for anything NCAA pretty much.

Troy Smith never played against an outstanding defense. Vince Young on the other hand had, and adjusted well. Smith couldn't adjust. As for sharing the championship, Michigan has NOTHING to say, they played Ohio State and lost, we played them and DOMINATED. USC lost to UCLA an unranked team they have no room to whine. Boise State is undefeated but come on, their first real game was Oklahoma...do they really think they'd beat us??
