Well, this isn't something I'd recommend...but when I was growing up my dad had the TERRIBLE HABIT of putting whatever license plates he had that weren't expired on whatever vehicles the family owned. He has always changed cars a lot. Anyway, once when I and my 2 sibs were teenagers, my dad was stopped for speeding, then was taken in [maybe arrested; I don't remember, it was decades ago] because his car had the wrong tags. He called us to get him out; my mom couldn't because she taught school so had to go to work. That left the three of us, and, unfortunately, although we had a number of vehicles at home, NONE of them had the tags they should have had. So we missed some classes that morning trying to find a way to get dad out of jail. It wasn't funny at the time but now is a treasured childhood memory...

Silly! You are not supposed to skip class on a day where you have to go on anyway!!!!! Anyway, you could say you had to get your car worked on? Accidentally slept in after working on school work? Had a headache? Its that time of the month?

My child was sick and had to take her to the doctor. If your professor is a woman, with children, it works. If it's a man, forget it. i had a professor in college and my daughter was sick with strep, I missed a whole week of class (3days) and even though I had made A's and B's in the class he failed me because I missed more than 2......which was his requirements he stated at the beginning of the semester. I even contacted him and got my assignments and turned them in by email on time, but he still failed me. As**ole! Anyway, Good Luck with your excuses!
