Think about it if they can stop the war then their companies cannot send them any more to cover it and run the risk of dying or give up their careers of gossip, slander and unsubstantiated rumor telling. Or they can get more news easily. Jacklyn Kennedy knew you have to feed the press because they are a bunch of hungry vultures.

I use to work for a newspaper they could care less what is important or good they just want to sell advertising.

I voted for Mrs. Clinton and even though they did not have a space because the Republican majority here does not want it I found a space and wrote it in so that they could not take my form and write in who they wanted as I did not like anyone up for a vote.

I think the news is out to get President Bush because it sells commercial air time, and it sells newspapers.
A lot of the reporters in Iraq actually like it there - look at Geraldo Rivera.

You're right, the press doesn't like the secretiveness of this administration. The Press' mission is to get news and information to the people.

The reporters who go to war zones want to be there, they're volunteers, like our armed services, they're not draftees!
