that i had said something that really enbarresed (don't know how to spell) me. And she keept saying things , even infront of me!!! What shold i Do!! SHould i break apart our friendship that has lasted about 5 years or just try to laugh it off???

If she is your best friend then you should be able to be honest with her and tell her that she embarrassed you in front of your male friend. Ask her how she would feel if you had done that to her? Sometimes best friends get jealous of a boy friend. It is pretty common. You are now giving time to a new person instead of giving it to her. I am not saying that it is right, I am just saying that it does happen. Just talk to her and see if you can't get her to understand. Another thing is that you may be maturing faster than your friend. Some times that maturing thing can end friendships. The reason is because the two of you are not in the same place in your life.

tell your friend that it was wrong what she did. Talk to her. I would forgive her. If it happens again, part the friendship.

ask her to stop. if she still does, try ignoring her for a while. if she keeps doing it talk to her again
