Please help I am very interested in when the first dino bones were found with evidence of death by spears. I learned it when I was little but cannot find anything on it. If dino's were killed with spears then humans existed and how did we come about when the dinos ruled the earth? Thank you

I went to the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh and one of the dinosaurs there had a sign next to it and it said the dinosaur was killed with spears during the caveman days but I do not remember the year next to the sign.

The dinosaurs became extinct at the end of the Cretaceous Period 65 million years ago. The first stone spear points are from about 250,000 years ago. Thus, there is *no* overlap between spear points and dinosaurs.

However, you may have seen spears in association with large extinct mammals, like the mammoth, at the museum.

Dinosaurs dies at hte K-T boundry at late cretaceous/early Jurassic times some 65Million years ago; humans first appeared in similar for to ourslves 3 million years ago; spears and such like which humans have used have only been around for less that 50,000years. There is no relationship between humans and dinos.

There are no dinosaurs with spear points in them. The closest is the mamoth which lived a few thousand years ago while dinosaurs lived 10's of millions of years ago and man developed in his most primative form about 2.5 million years go.
There have been numerous claims by creationists of merged foot prints of man and dinosaurs (as in Glen Rose Texas) and of spear points in dinosaurs because they want the earth to have been created in 4004 BC. All of these claims, where clear evidence is offered up, have been proven false. Someone in the 1930's actually carved human foot prints near dinosaur foot prints at Glen Rose to "prove" they co-existed.

I learned years ago that the dinosaurs were extinct before man even existed. I don't know any dates but you could easily find a timeline chart and see if that is true.

Hi. My understanding is that the dinosaurs became extinct dozens of millions of years before the first stone tool were invented/discovered. Do you have a reference?
