Well, that strategy worked for the Republicans in Congress for the last twelve years: call anyone who doesn't buy into the GOP platform 100% an "obstructionist" or "partisan."
But I doubt the Democrats will be quite that arrogant. After all, they are still in a divided government w/ a Republican in the White House who is finally going to use his veto power.
Anyone with a brain knows that bipartisan means the two parties working together. But when Dennis Hastert made plain his ""majority of the majority" strategy (where bills would first be vetted among the GOP and then, once a majority of that party agreed, they'd vote unanimously in the chamber, stripping the Democrat of any influence over legislation), it became a little difficult for bipartisanship to exist or be successful.
Here's hoping that the new Democratic majority is aware that the public voted for change because they wanted more bipartisanship, not less.

They too are speaking approximately blockading it. Republicans needed the Bush tax cuts to be everlasting. President Obama have been given them to agreed to a short-term 2 12 months extension. Republicans have been adamant approximately not extending unemployment insurance for over 2 million people. President Obama have been given them to agreed to make greater them for a 12 months. The Republicans additionally agreed to make all of President Obama's tax cuts he put in the stimulus bill everlasting and a short-term payroll-tax deduction. President Obama actual have been given the Republican management to comply with a various stimulus bill and that too became something they have been against. AND NONE OF that is PAID FOR.

It's the lunatic right-wing crackpot party (aka republicans) who have been whimpering about bi-partisanship since they had their collective asses handed to them by the voters in November.
Try to catch up to the rest of the class.
