Serious question and comments I added. Bush is doing his best in Iraq. He did not enlist the troops either - the soldiers volunteered to go to the recruiter's office, take the ASVAB and sign the forms to join the armed forces: THERE IS NO DRAFT since vietnam.

I'm sure the country itself is quite beautiful. And there is, like everywhere, a vast mix of people. But there is a lot of problems - gun-ownership, poor health-care system - in my opinion a dangerous, illiterate president.
There are some very intelligent people, but there are also some very ignorant, extreme right-wing religious fools, who have next to no knowledge of the rest of the world.
They are often loud and arrogant to boot. But I do love the best of them.

I love the US. You have a great point about the soldiers volunteering to enter the armed forces, it was indeed their choice. I don't agree with everything that is going on with the war, but you do make a good point.

I live here so of course I love it, however I don't always agree with things that the goverment does.
