>>>I mean come on guys, out of all the people in the world, you should be the most tolerant! >>>
Hah, that's a laugh!
Gays, tolerant? No way, my friend. Many of them are the most intolerant people on the planet.
Just try telling them that you're against "gay marriage," even though you have no problem with their sexual lifestyle.
Trust me, you'll get called every dirty name in the book -- and the culprits will be these "champions of tolerance."
Some of them will actually engage in intelligent debate with you -- but many of them will not. They'll just call you names.
In the past, my disagreement with "gay marriage" has gotten me called "b---h," "whore," "closet lesbian," and worse.
I've had people tell me that they hope I get hit by a bus. One person told me that he/she hopes my daughter gets cancer and dies.
I read a piece by conservative columnist Mike Adams. He wrote that when he asks other conservative columnists which group of people they get their worst, most hateful, most despicably-worded mail from, the answer is unanimous: gays.
Tolerant? Not on your life!

Because you told a WOMAN to watch a porn movie. NOW, think about this:
What would happen if someone told your mother to watch a porn movie? It would turn her off. Most women, even Lesbians aren't crazy over porn. Yes, alot are, but not all. By equating YOUR habits with a womans your saying "this is what i'd do, so why don't you do the same?" Because, they're Lesbians and they wouldn't, that's why. Basically, without thinking, your insulted them. I KNOW it wasn't your intent. Just stating a fact.

Well if your answers stink, you get a thumbs down. If your answers are not based in full fact, you'll get a thumbs down. If your answers are smart-alec and sarcastic in nature you'll get a thumbs down.
But since I don't recall seeing your avatar or answers, I can't rightly say exactly why you'be personally gotten thumbs down responces.
Um, by "sexual preferance" I do hope you mean, what type of sex, positions, play or activity...is what you are refering to.
IF by "sexual preferance" you mean SEXUALITY or Sexual orientation, then I beg to differ. I know quite a few females who are straight who like porn just as much as men...but with obvious differences in TASTE.

some human beings had those thumbs down therefore of their reviews that did not experience many others. it truly is commonplace way and by no ability our case right here. some eco-friendly with envy human beings fantastically the zomba2eelis they could't locate incorrect thanks to pour their hate anger, so as that they thumb fairly a lot each person in a unmarried question. you'll locate it more effective in some political or religious questions or solutions which they don't like. we may be able to evade this when we block many of the trolls as achieveable. particular they'd have new money owed in spite of the undeniable fact that it takes time even as they could thumb down/up. shall we make it harder for them.

the problem is that the yahoo answers theme is designed for people to ask factual questions.. the rating system is designed for people to thumb up or down whether the fact given is correct.
but when it comes to an opinionated question, the thumbs up/down rating then becomes a popularity contest as to whether or not people agree with the opinion..
in addition, there are tons of hetrosexual bible-thumpers who come into this section and try to stir up trouble.. therefore, i would not take the thumb's up rating very seriously here.

Here's the thing about thumbs down: It doesn't mean the answer isn't any good, it just means whoever gave the thumbs down didn't like the answer. If you ask what's your favorite color, and somebody answers "red" and they get a thumbs down, does that tell you anything? Like red isn't a good color? Of course not. As for your particular category, think of what type of people lurk in this category. Probably people who hate gays and get off on yanking your chain. Treat it like water off a duck's back, you'll live longer.

Since there is no way to know who (gay/str8/bi/tg/lesbian) gave you the thumbs down, it is not fair to think it is anyone group of people. I would even have to say the same thing to Julia about her comments. Unless you know for sure the who signed a letter or who gives you the thumbs down, how can you know they are gay/str8/bi/tg or even a sexual?

You'll never have everyone agree with you. Don't take it personally, it doesn't add or cost points anyhow. Well, it can add points if it's thumbs up to a best answer, but never deduct points. Just let it roll of your back.
