Florida because they won the national championship which I think entitles them to be number one, but I mean i could be wrong maybe the Florida will just hand over their trophy to boise state and say "you deserve it, not us!" Other than this question which does not really deserve an answer because it is so obvious, Boise state had an easier schedule and played easier teams. Also, Florda won by a large margain whereas Boise state won by 1 point.

Boise State had a cake schedule. Florida is garaunteed a share of the National Championship by winning the BCS title game. Boise State, even with an undefeated season, was not as good of a team as Florida, period.

Yeah and plus Michigan already beat Wisconsin so as that doesn't artwork too properly. Oh and did not USC fall to lowly UCLA, whether, on account that they beat Michigan they are gods. Boise State beat one stable team in that of Oklahoma. Ohio State crowned off 2 #2 communities in Texas and Michigan, plus 24 Penn State and a 13 Iowa, and lost one recreation (whether it replaced into gruesome) Michigan beat #2 Notre Dame, ruled interior the final public of their video games, fell to the palms of the #a million team Ohio State with the aid of 3, and losses a 2d to a #8 USC Florida merits #a million after this victory this evening LSU lost to Florida and Auburn, had a fluff schedule, yet did beat out Tennessee and Arkansas, dominates Notre Dame (which Michigan and USC the two did already this 365 days) and you're saying they deserve a countrywide call shot???? Wisconsin replaced right into a stable team and merits interior the ideal 5. think of formerly you rank. Boise is fantastic, not superb, yet ok. USC is amazingly dominate "maximum" of the time yet has had too many close calls with subpar communities and lost two times interior the season with the aid of a sprint better than familiar communities.

Florida.
But if this season is not proof the BCS stands for Bull Crap System, then what more proof do the weenies at NCAA HQ need? We need a playoff.
It obviously can't be a 64 team tournament like hoops (hell, that would be HALF the D1 teams anyway lol), but how about 8 teams? The top 8, in a playoff, REGARDLESS OF CONFERENCE RANK!!!!
The other 40-whatever teams that are Bowl Eligible still play in thier bowls. But the Top 8 play a single elimination playoff, may the best team win.
