im on my period and i hear that you lose iron..so what has iron in it and how can i gain it back?

Liver is one obvious choice. Beets too. I wouldn't recommend using iron suppliments as they can become toxic in your system. But chelated iron that you get from green leafy vegetables is safe, and you won't have to worry about getting too much. Dark green leafy vegetables are an easy source of iron.

Health food stores sell descicated beef liver powder that you can easily mix with tomato juice. That is an easy way to get iron that many people choose.

Leafy green vegetables, legumes, red meat, calves liver, and many other things. Go to Google and type the words "iron" and "nutrition" and it should give you lots of places to get more information. Don't take iron supplements unless you are under a doctor's supervision. Too much iron can be harmful. If you get your iron from food, it's not a problem though.
