Anything with an antiviral disinfectant like Lysol or bleach. Wear gloves and use paper towels. There are lots of little germs that thrive in a dirty fridge.

Ive heard baking soda is really good for deodorizing. U can also try out windex or other cleaners if u have stains to wipe. And in some grocery stores, I have seen something close to an air freshener, yet it is designed specifically to go inside your fridge to keep the smell fresh. If none of my ideas work, I'm sorry. =(
hope you find a better way than mine then!

Empty the regrigerator out every few months, and wipe the interior with a solution of 2 tablespoons baking soda and one quart water; rinse with a damp cloth, and dry with a clean towel. Remove glass shelves and drawers, and wash them in the sink; let sheves come to room temp first to avoid cracks and breaks!!

I really love Greased Lightening. I buy it in Costco or Home Depot. This stuff is fabulous in the refrigerator ... spray it on, wipe it off. It cleans the refrigerator beautifully and effortlessly. It is also wonderful for cleaning up spills on the stove, and I've used it on my electric toaster oven. You can use it to clean blinds, ceiling fans - I even use it as a pre-treatment for stained clothing. I don't use this product for the floor, however.

Windex is great to use to clean a fridge. Then you can make it smell nice by wiping over racks and trays with a small amount of vanilla essence.

I use a bucket of water with ordinary dish soap. Can add a little bleach to this, to disinfect. For stubborn spots, I grab a regular cleanser--like 409 or somthing similar. Add box of baking soda when done.

baking soda and water is best to use. It is the best thing at getting rid of odours and does not leave a chemical smell in your fridge. also, leave a small bowl of baking soda in your fridge at all times to eliminate food odours. It works wonders

I just use dish soap, since it's usually food crap that's stuck to the inside of a fridge anyway. After you get the grime off, you might towel it dry and then use something like windex to make it look shiney and smooth.

Windex works well as does Goo Gone or dish washing detergent and warm water.

Purely natural - lemon juice or white vinegar, then a baking soda and water mixture to get rid of the smell of them.
