Its always like that. The Heisman to me and about everyone else has become nothing more than a joke. Look at Bush and Leinart. If the Heisman had meant so much to the NFL teams why didn't these guys get picked up sooner than they did? Look at Jason White from Oklahoma just a few years ago. Won the Heisman, and the national championship, just to not get drafted and go to Tennessee as an undrafted free agent and finally get cut by Tennessee. Now look at Troy Smith, this guy is just plain awful and probably wont even be taken on the first day of the draft, possibly not even second day.

what do you mean? the best player did win. but there is also the heisman curse which is why troy smith played crappy this year and reggie bush didn't play great last year. just cuz they win the heisman doesn't mean they'll turn out to be the best pro either.

the best did win troy smith is the best qb in college. He didnt play shitty. The coaches lost that game. and our line what the hell were they doing. how can u stop a 7 man rush with 5 lineman??????????????he had more td's than any other qbs this year not to mention a better record not to mention a great career at osu and the best stat's how can you take that away from him ONE BAD game and all of a sudden he isnt good?

I think Troy Smith should personally present his trophy to Chris Leak. He don't deserve it.
