Everyone doesn't have a free incoming SMS plan. Certain companies charge their subscribers for incoming text messages. In these cases, the person you are sending the SMS to will be charged as per his tariff plan.

Yahoo does ask the recipient to reply to continue receiving SMSes from the sender. This is done to safeguard the receiver.

It depends on where it is going to. Sometimes the person you are sending it to will be billed for the sms. I have done it before and never got billed for it.

yeah, you can send sms messages thru yahoo for free, however.......if you don't have a text messaging plan on the phone, it will vary on the cost
