Actually YES!, there is such a condition as male menopause, but is is called ANDROPAUSE (andro from the greek and which means men/male).
The condition of male menopause (andropause) is caused by a decline in hormones. For men those hormones are testosterone, thyroid, human growth hormone (HGH) and DHEA. Male hormones start to decline in the mid-twenties and effects can usually be felt by age 35. Every man will become andropausal. Symptoms of andropause can be easily corrected by replacing lost hormones.
Some of the symptoms of the Andropause are:
->Symptoms of low testosterone
->Decreased mental quickness and sharpness
->Decreased energy, strength and endurance
->Less desire for activity and exercise
->Decreased muscle and increased body fat
->Mild to moderate depression and irritability
->Depression and/or loss of eagerness and enthusiasm for daily life
->Decreased sex drive
->Decreased sexual function and/or sensitivity
So it's not only a mid life crisis but it is a fisiological change in the male. And contrary to what some might think, it is not a rush of homones, but a deficiency of them. It is not compatible with the desire to look younger or have desperate sex, but instead it is denoted by signs of depression and lack of libido.
Ladys, please do your research, you will have to deal with it.!!
