We served in the Navy together. We were the best of friends until she got out the service. She was like all of my friends and family rolled into one person. Being young and new to the ship she made sure I knew where to go and what to do. For 3 years we did everything together. My family even took care of her when she had the chicken pox. (my husband & I had it when we were younger) When my husband was out to sea and I had surgery she was there for me. Thru all that we were not all that expressive with feelings. I don't want to seem like a crazy person but I do want her to know I have never had a Best friend like her.

I wouldn't hurt to find her and tell her how you feel.

I've done the same with friends that I lost track of...one way or another. Sometimes it's really great, and sometimes the person has just moved on and doesn't want to look back. You need to prepare yourself to either take them back into your life or to accept the person's wishes and move on yourself - if that's what's needed.

Even when a person doesn't want to have me in their life anymore, it gives me a sense of closure to know that I at least tried to pull it back together.

But, it's really cool to reunite with somebody and talk about old times - even if you can only manage it once a year or so.

Good luck!

13 years of friendship. a lengthy time period. you do not ignore that, and that i do not ignore that it seriously is not lost. You did not over re-act. i imagine that you do have the right to be slightly of mat in the route of each of them. enable your sister understand all of what you suggested above, and enable Ivan understand too. Im particular he did not ignore you. verbal replace is common. And whenever you spot your sister/Ivan next be particular to search for suggestion from with them, or agenda lunch or dinner to communicate something over.
