lol it's extremely hard!! the gestation period is only 18 days, and they're so small, that you really cant tell anyway!!! i had one that had 3 litters in two and a half months, and i never did tell she was pregnant!!!
chances are, she is, or she will be. get a second cage, and put it in a plastic rubbermaid tub (you know, the big storage boxes??)
set it up comfortably for her, and the babies. you will need to seaparate the babies from the father, because he will eat them if he can get to them. you need to check periodically to make sure that none of the babies have slipped out of the cage bars. (that's what the rubbermaid box is for) better yet, just set them up in the bottom of the rubbermaid box on some bedding. do this before she has them, or she will eat her babies if she smells you on them. DO NOT TOUCH THE BABIES until they are weined.
if you plan to keep the male and the female togehter for long, then i'd suggest getting 7 or 8 cages ready,,, and separate all the males from all the females. trust me, they breed soooo frickin quick.... lol my sister gave me mine telling me that they were two females,,,, yeah... sure. i ended up keeping one of the babies and gave all the rest back to her three months later. i had 29 different babies in the cage i sent back.
good luck, and if you have any questions, please email me, i really dont mind!!
have a good one!!

This question is misplaecd. Dwarf hamsters don't kiss, the groom and fight and bite and lick.
If its a female over 3 months old, and she hasn't attempted to kill the male she's pregnant. Gestation is just under 3 weeks, an she will get pregnant within about 1 - 2 weeks after giving birth. About 3 - 4 days before she gives birth she will look FAT! About a week before she gives birth she won't want you to touch her.
Laying on top of each other is a strange behaviour. I'm assuming you're meaning you've seen them having sex, it looks like sex, it doesn't look like laying down. Just laying on top of each other I've never seen, unless you mean the sleep in the same nest.
It is unusual for males to attack babies. They usually help in the delivery and take care of their family. Unless of course the cage is to small, then both parents are an equal threat. Either parent could eat the babies and likely will if this is the first litter. You don't need to separate them unless you directly see a frequent problem.

The Teddy bear hampster as quickly because it gets to be attentive to you will possibly be very friendly. however the long fur makes for an extremely super mess extraordinarily whilst they get there urine and different stuff caught in it and your caught pulling it out. The dwarf hamspter being the smalliest area of the hampster kin is extremely friendly and prefer to cover on your wallet. The down area to them is they get scared conveniently and could chunk you in case you startle them. wish this facilitates you out. different aspects to dwarf is they actually do not want an exceptionally super habitat to stay simply by there length.

It's really hard to tell if little critters like those are pregnant. I had a guinea pig that I thought was a male till it had babies. All I can think to tell you is to make sure the two hamsters don't fight just in case and just wait and see. Also, if she is then keep a close watch on the babies after they're born. Hamsters are one of those odd species that sometimes eat its own young.

If you have a male and female, she is most likely pregnant. I'm not sure with hamsters but mice gestation is only about 30 to 40 days. If she has gained a lot of weight you need to separate them your male hamster will kill the babies.

pregger hamsters tend to build really big nests and dont move a lot. if u moniter ur hamster or maybe take it to a vet i'm sure you will be able to find out. or if u want to u can also search online for hamster care such as pregannacys.
