11. homologous structures
Homologous structures are ones that evolved from the same thing to get fit different functions.
Vestigal structures are ones that don't do anything anymore, kind of like the pelvis bones in whales and human tailbones.
Embryological structures are ones that are similar when the animal is an embryo, such as a tail and gill slits.

13. founder effect
The founder effect is also known as the bottleneck effect, when some catastrophe destroys many individuals and no adaptation is advantagious over other adaptations.
Natural selection is when individuals with a certain adaptation is more suited for the environment than others are, so their genes are passed on, not the others.
Descent with modification was Darwin's way of saying evolution; individuals were "modified" through generations to get the various species we have today.

24. 2 species live across a canyon from each other
2 species having different reproductive anatomy would have physical isolation (because the parts won't fit).
2 species pollinated by different bees have a different isolation; sorry, I don't remember the name right now.
2 species living across a canyon have geographic isolation because they are geographically separated.
Different mating season is a behavorial isolation, I think.

25. were followed by speciation and diversification of some of the survivors
When there were mass extinctions, the survivors had more room to "expand" and evolve into, so they diversified and there were many more species coming into being.

Hope I helped!

Gosh, considering that you are begging for help, you seemed quite rude to the first answerer. When we come to the "homework" section, it is to help. It is not to do your homework for you. If you are going to get angry at people who suggest you do the work yourself, you might as well lay in a big supply of Pepcid AC because you are going to angry A LOT.

I am sure the answers can be found in your science book. Try looking there. The words that you do not know the meaning to can be found in the dictionary.
Best wishes!
