just solve them

suppose you have
ax^2 + bx + c = 0

you can try to put them in one of the 3 forms

0 = a(x - h)^2 + k => solution is + or - sqrt(-k/a) + h


0 = (nx + d)(mx + e) solutions are -d/n and -e/m

And this quadratic formula x = - b + or - Square Root V(b^2 - 4ac)

Once you have found the solutions you can verify them by putting the result in the original equation and see if the resulting equations makes sense.
